The words used here.

The terms described in this section have, exclusively, the meanings expressed in the following sub-clauses.

• "receita." means this application and the website at www.1receita.com.
• Generated content means any recipe, meal plan, shopping list or nutritional estimate produced by the artificial-intelligence models used by this service.
• User means any person who accesses the site or the application, whether or not they hold a registered account.

Written by a model, checked by you.

Generated content is produced automatically by an artificial-intelligence model in response to what the User provides. It is not written, tested or reviewed by a chef, a dietitian or any human editor before it is shown, and receita. does not warrant that it is accurate, complete or suitable for the User.

Generated content may contain errors — a wrong quantity, a missing step, an unsuitable ingredient, an unsafe cooking time, or a nutritional figure that does not match the food. The User is responsible for checking ingredients, quantities, allergens and cooking temperatures before preparing or eating anything suggested by the service.

Generated content is not medical, nutritional or dietetic advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat or manage any condition. The full AI disclaimer sets this out in detail.

These terms change.

Users have a duty to regularly check the terms and conditions to be informed of any changes.

What belongs to whom.

The information contained in this site — including the domain, logos, drawings, illustrations, photographs, videos, content, texts, graphics and attached documents — is the exclusive property of receita. and other entities and is protected by applicable law.

Downloading, copying, modifying, transmitting, distributing, reproducing or resending, in whole or in part, for commercial or other purposes without prior written authorisation from receita., is expressly prohibited and punishable by law.

The User undertakes to access the site only for lawful purposes.

Sites we do not control.

Users of this site may not use any application or software that may interfere with its normal operation.

This site may contain advertising references and/or hyperlinks to other sites over which receita. has no control. We are not responsible for the content of those third-party sites.

The limits of our responsibility.

receita. is not liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss arising from the use of the information contained on this site.

Registration and availability.

Access to certain content of this application is reserved for duly registered users.

receita. carries out continuous updating and verification of its information and tools, and may modify, update or correct information without prior notice.

For undefined or external reasons, the receita. application may have moments of unavailability — including backups, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, system overload or other reasons.

How we handle your data.

The user is solely responsible for any and all information provided on this site. receita. will process the data for purposes of providing services and administrative and commercial management.

To produce generated content, the data needed to answer a request — including the text and photographs you submit and the relevant parts of your profile, pantry and logs — is transmitted to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider, which processes it on its servers and returns the result.

If the user wishes to modify or delete the information provided, they may use the features of the application or send a written communication to receita. at account@valuedate.pt.

receita. performs all regular procedures to preserve user privacy. However, it may be required by law to formally disclose information provided to the competent authorities.

Free to start, paid to grow.

receita. is offered under three usage plans — one free and two paid. The current features and prices of each are listed on the plans page.

• Free — use the application at no cost, with limits on features and on the number of AI generations.
• Standard — per chef, per month, with the everyday limits lifted.
• Advanced — per chef, per month, for households and heavier use.

Paid plans are billed according to the chosen payment method, monthly or annual.

The law that applies.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. The District of Lisbon shall be territorially competent for all disputes arising from interpretation and execution of these Terms.
