Preparation

How to cook.

Prep 120 minutes Cook 15 minutes per batch 1 servings
  1. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl
  2. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and molasses
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients
  4. Chill dough for 2 hours
  5. Roll out dough and cut house pieces using templates
  6. Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes
  7. Prepare royal icing
  8. Assemble house using royal icing as cement
  9. Decorate with candies and additional icing
  1. Add butter and sugar to bowl, mix 30 sec/speed 4
  2. Add eggs and molasses, mix 20 sec/speed 3
  3. Add dry ingredients, knead 2 min/dough setting
  4. Chill and continue with traditional assembly
